Very important point by Dirk Moses (shortened by me): "Germany’s fixation on the Nazi regime locks actors into a catastrophic binary of absolute innocence and absolute evil. Coming to terms with the Nazi past can't mean adopting its categorization of the world by simply inverting the value signs."
