If a TV show is too expensive to make, why not just tell the creators and writers that they only have one more season and they better wrap things up? It makes it risky and annoying to get invested in new shows knowing they can be dropped at any time, no matter how wonderful.

I use playing the sims to practice social situations, which works really well except that now when I don't know what to do next, I stand there waiting for my next command, much like...a sim.

I get so attached to characters in shows and books that it's downright ridiculous. I think it really reflects how I've had such a hard time letting go of people in real life too.

Playing all of my sims in one huge save file is such joyful chaos. All of my sims meet each other at some point and when I come upon a family I haven't played with in awhile, they've usually adopted a horse and are bartending at the cute little restaurant I've made or downloaded from the gallery.

I'm almost certain the media are angered at asexuality because they can't weaponise sexual thoughts, or actions, or both.

At this time, I've settled on getting my news from NPR, The NYTimes and the Boston Globe. I like having multiple sources and do not want my information to come from social media because anybody can fall for a conspiracy theory. I limit my time with the news though so as not to sink into despair.💜

I'm currently recovering from surgery #2 to fix my teeth/gums. I'm very swollen and can't really talk, but (so far) the pain is more manageable than last time. Hopefully, I never have to do this again. I really love all the people who have been supportive🥰

The sims4 is the ultimate fanfiction tool. Where else can I create replicas of my favorite places from stories and shows and then let the characters just live? Sometimes, I can make a story or just sit in that fantasy space. It's the zen moments that I need right now. #thesims4
