In some small news: I’ve finally started with holiday decorations! Added some new Mando, Ahsoka, and Bad Batch decor I got on sale last year to commemorate the great runs I had with those Star Wars shows!

Ooh yes, the aesthetic changes for the Night Troopers in the Ahsoka series was PERFECT. Broken and meshed armor that symbolizes their long wear and tear hiding the zombies underneath. And also Captain Enoch’s Roman faceplate helmet will always make him a standout in Thrawn’s ranks for me.

Day Five of my Star Wars sequel trilogy appreciation starts off the weekend with… Lightsaber duels! I’ve always loved the sword dances of the Clone Wars lightsaber duels, but I also really love the ST’s grit and rough feel. The “sword arts” are lost by time, but the speed/power are still there.

I also wonder about the eventual payoff of the Mandoverse. I’ve loved all the shows, but the ST hints feel too sparse as a diehard sequel fan to feel tangible or satisfying enough. BUT the Ahsoka series threads are unique to where I wanna see how Sabine & Ahsoka carry on the fight in their own way.
