I study party platforms, but always know few voters actually read them. In this federal election, platforms matter even less. Given the amount of uncertainty, policy proposals are written in pencil. Voters are wise to invest their time in choosing honorable MPs and leaders to make tough decisions.

Re-upping this. Senior folks in any discipline relevant to global affairs or public policy should apply (polisci, econ, soc, history, anthro, area studies, geography...). It's a genuinely nice place to work in a great city. I'm on the committee and happy to chat.

What happens next? Carney will be invited to form a govt by the GG. Carney will be the Prime Minister-designate during a transition period (could be really fast or a few days). Once the transition is over, Trudeau formally resigns as Prime Minister, and Carney is appointed PM.
