I finished The Late Night Witches by Auralee Wallace. It was the 1st book by this author that I’ve read. It was a good story with some interesting characters. I’ll definitely read more by this author and would like to see a sequel. I’d especially like to see a story centered around the aunt! 💙📚🪐

Thanks to a good tip from @samhainnight.bsky.social I backed up a little in the Foundation story timeline and started the Susan Calvin I, Robot books. I started with I, Robot: To Protect by Mickey Zuckerberg Reichert. I found it to be an enjoyable read. 💙📚🪐 #SciFi #books

Somehow I never got around to reading Asimov, so I decided to start reading the Foundation series. I was a bit bored in a few places, but over all I enjoyed Prelude To Foundation and will probably continue with the series. 💙📚🪐

I’m really glad to see the Lazarus series by Greg Rucka pick back up again. I read the original series back when it initially came out & it was one of my favorites. If you haven’t read the original, I highly recommend it. You can read it on Hoopla is you have an account with your library. #comics

Just finished Nine Goblins by T. Kingfisher. I enjoyed it a lot, as I’ve enjoyed every thing of her’s I’ve read. I particularly liked her humorous portrayal of the goblins’ culture and personalities. I would happily read another story about this gang! #SFF #Fantasy #books 🪐📚

I’m late to the party, but I just finished Our Flag Means Death. I wish it would have been on my radar when it aired.

I finished Grave Importance, the 3rd book in the Dr Greta Helsing series, by Vivian Shaw. I liked it - especially that the story occurred in a couple of different locations that we didn’t see in the first two novels. 📚🪐 #books #SFF

My work in Magneto’s helmet continues as I give short & long stitch a try. I’m having a difficult time with it. For folks that use this embroidery stitch, do you do short & long in each row or do the short all in one row (skipping the long) and then go back and do the next level?🧶 #embroidery
