I somehow always manage to forget what a huge shot in the arm it can be to just talk with someone else who's got a similar, enthusiastic mindset about toy soldiers for a half hour or so. Coming away from a wee chat like, "Yeah, I'm gonna go paint something!"

Warhammer Underworlds sculpts are just so fun. I always want to paint more because it’s like a little bit of AoS tapas, where you get the flavours of a faction without getting bored. If anyone wanted a warband painted by me I’d absolutely be up for a commission on this scale any time :)

Played by first games of Spitewood last night. The changes aren’t huge but certainly mix things up nicely. I hope this is the future of Underworlds – the occasional variant release rather than a whole new edition each year.

Rules update is out for Underworlds. GW have managed to completely rewrite the rules for Zarbag’s Gitz before they’ve even been released. 🤪 It must be incredibly difficult to write the rules for 18 warbands at once. However, it didn’t take an Underworlds master to know that they were utterly broken

I’ve had a tough day today… nothing world-ending but work, life, etc. each demanding 110% of my attention. Thankfully the day ended with me spending an hour painting some goblins and now everything feels alright again. Would recommend Painting Some Goblins to anyone going through a stressful time.

Games Workshop scenery peaked with the original Necromunda terrain: practical and folds down nicely for storage/transport.
