For as much as I was OBSESSED by The X-Files as a teen, I have rarely rewatched much of it in the past 20+ years. The time feels right for a rewatch. There’s also a big chunk of episodes in seasons 7-9 that I never saw. My interest started to fade after the show moved to LA.

Frank Darabont is the credited director for the 3rd episode of the final season of Stranger Things. It is his first screen credit since 2013's Mob City. I'm not a huge Darabont fan by any means, but that seems like far too long for someone of his stature to be off the board.

I remember sitting on the couch over Christmas smashing through (screener) episodes of The Pitt and losing myself to the show completely. Fantastic TV which reminded me why I grew up loving the medium. I am stoked to see the show rewarded with the Emmy for outstanding drama.

#Andor was incredible television. In a just world, it would be sweeping every #Emmys category. But, there was no way that a Star Wars show was ever going to get that sort of recognition. That said, if it was going to win any category, I'm happy Dan Gilroy got it for writing.
