One more thing I’ll add to this: There are so, so, SO many different ways to live a successful, meaningful, exciting life. One person’s opportunity will never equate to one less opportunity for you. Success isn’t a finite resource.

Honestly, the sooner you can unlearn jealousy and envy as reactions to others’ success, the better off you’ll be. There are better ways to motivate yourself to succeed than hoping that your peers don’t.
