my LCS invited me to table at the shop for free comic book day and it was such a blast!! black cat comics is one of my favorite places in town and we’re lucky to have it. it was kind of a last minute thing so next year i’d like to maybe do an exclusive FCBD comic or something!

on the next issue of gnarf i really want to work on my spot blacks. i like tones but it felt like a crutch at times, and i struggle knowing where to use a halftone vs where to use a spot black...i feel like itll take experimentation, which is something i just didnt have time for with this issue

gnarf #2 is DONEEEEE DUDEEEE. this thing was hella difficult to get finished in just one month for a lot of reasons but god damn, it's done. i will be doing a live reading at SAW in gainesville this week and then debuting the new issue at SPICE in savannah next week!!!!

a few days ago i supremely fucked up my back by twisting the wrong way in my sleep. constant up & down pain/discomfort, have to wear a back brace at work, p much no sleep because laying in one position for too long makes it hurt! i feel it’s slowly improving but it’s still kind of hellish. tips? 8’)

i spoke w/ a friend today visiting from minneapolis & she said her nearby elementary school is raided almost daily still. they don't do recess outside anymore. but it was really inspiring hearing her talk about the level of organization the people of MN have continued to sustain to help each other.
