There have been so many great ones, in such wide and wonderful variety. It’s very hard to choose a favorite. I think at the end of the day, I’ve got to go with the Leading Man.

Looking forward to 2026: One of the first things I’ll be doing is wrapping up Month of Monsters 5. The first half got a largely tepid reception, so I’m working on ways to make the second half better and more striking.

One more post on the unofficial D&D dragons: I originally planned on ten of them, 60 hours a piece. That plan fell away when the red dragon was on track to take more like 200 hours. That would’ve been like a full year of work if I was doing nothing else.
