Switching to traditional media is the best decision I'v made in a long time. It feels so much nicerto paint on real paper. With brushes for scale, you can also see how tiny my work is in person.

Art directing anecdote: years ago an AD asked me to make a bunch of mood/refboards as the initial part of exploring a new area. It felt trivially easy to the point that I had impostor syndrome about whether I understood why I was spending time just collecting good examples of a visual theme

I have a love/hate relationship with social media, but I think it's healthy if used in the right way so I'm gonna attempt to rebuild and repost a few of my favourite pieces of work here and maybe I'll find some inspiration for something new too. Also you might not have seen these before, so enjoy!

I've mostly abandoned X/Twitter, but I'm not very active here either so lets change that - My first public work as Art Director for @gardens.dev! Very excited about the project and team I'm working with including artists @benmce.bsky.social @rangerwang.bsky.social, Noah Alonzo and Ma-Ko.
