One of my favourite day jobs in Vancouver was as an admin assistant for BC Liquor. I had to take minutes at consultations with First Nations councils to discuss whether to open liquor stores in remote communities in BC. Was always impressed by how respectfully they balanced a lot of complex issues

The UK produces way too many crime dramas; I know because I've worked on several this past year. If it's not a comedy, there's like a 90% chance it'll be a crime drama. It's almost as if other genres, other stories or current social issues than "crime" don't exist to producers.

I misread this as “cool tit” and I thought I’d found my spirit animal.

I love this. Have just started rebuilding my vinyl collection, and I really enjoy that I can put on an album, listen consciously to it, then go do something else. Could be the exact same album, yet somehow steaming renders it background noise that will also consume a day.
