I’m cheap, but two things I pay for are a subscription to 404 and Eve smart plugs. Eve products are more expensive, but everything is local and works with my Homepods via Threads/Matter. This is a fun story, but 404 is covering much more important stuff, e.g., Ring’s partnership with Flock.
