I actually want to insert Nadezhda into 8.0 party, her general arc being slightly similar to Steel Lily but with a more happy outcome. She may lack Echo but she was an experience of killing different things and always living through it, even if she's haunted by an event that made her like that. >>>

The closest one for Pi would be "positive protagonist with a dark past". Except that dark past is just first 10 years of life at the Southern Sea Isles that he forgot because of amnesia, also he's one of the survivors from an Imperial raid on the still inhabited Lalafellin islands.

Pi only had one love - a Dwarven lady by the name of Tautt, affectionately named Tau by him and his party members during ShB. Pi wasn't really a romantic, he saw everyone only as his friends. But seeing that dwarf without the bulky helmet made his heart beat in a different way. >>>

Pi thrives I am pretty sure. He was born on South Sea Isles and then lived for many years in Thavnair. He's pretty used to heat and handles it well. But if it's cold like in Coerthas or, even worse, Northern Ilsabard, he would be for sun to come out and never leave lol

Teledji Adeledji There were a lot of other villains that came close but I think none if them had me have an extreme crashout where I was exclusively shouting in Russian swear words for an hour during the Bloody Banquet scenes.

Pi had an irrational fear of getting hurt physically in my way as a child, so he was very careful. He grew out of it as he got older. He still has one fear though, the one he never had until he had stepped foot into Gyr Abania - Arachnophobia, because he got taken away by big hungry spiders once.

Let me tell you about my nightmare this night that I had. My PC forced itself into Win11 upgrade despite of not being compatible so I shut that bitch off and speedran installing Linux. That's it, but I woke up sweating, it was very realistic.

We need less ffxiv youtube content creators and more people making funny drawn or gpose comics of their OCs adventures and lives leading up to DT and beyond. Call me a boomer but bring back the creative fandom experience where everyone made things for themselves and their peers

I put Pi into special namesday gear when it's either mine, or one of his two namesdays! (One for his real birthday and another for the day his adoptive family took him in) And I give him umbrella when it's raining, and I usually put him in warm clothes in very cold zones :3

Jokes on you, Pi has been named after a food item by his adoptive mother. He had a regular Lalafellin name before losing his memories, but he still prefers the sillier one that she gave him years ago. The original name was Piyu Lazuyu, with the latter part related to lapis lazuli - his birth stone.

Pi got noticed by Y'shtola during his studies at Arcanist guild, picking up the basic and advanced spells incredibly fast. She recruited him and his older companion/caretaker Marceau after they saved a group of villagers from kobolds and Pi had shown to often predict the does moves thanks to Echo.

You know, maybe it would be easier for new players to get through A Realm Reborn if the FFXIV community didn't treat it like a literal chore. Like required reading, or the vegetables you have to eat before getting dessert. Maybe if we just call it good--which it is--people will actually LIKE it.
