Gerry Conway is perhaps the only creator whose influence on the Spider-Man mythos you could claim stands shoulder to shoulder with Stan, Steve and John's. His stories are still felt to this day in Spider-Man and beyond with so many landmark issues. RIP Gerry Conway. You will be missed ❤️🕸️

Imagine taking over Amazing Spider-Man at just 19, writing some of the most important comics ever, creating the Punisher, Carol Danvers, Jason Todd, Firestorm and Killer Croc AND writing the first Marvel/DC crossover. A true hall-of-fame career by any measure. RIP Gerry Conway.

The mass layoffs at Disney/Marvel make no sense. These are multi-billion dollar companies. They could easily afford to keep each of these employees. And it's never the CEOs and executives who lose their jobs or take pay cuts.

The Mark Waid Superman/Spider-Man story was cute but it was heavily favoured to Supes imo. These crossovers are still fun but making them 2 partners between the DC and Marvel issues would be better than backup stories imo
