Furry Valley, a group run by a notorious zoosadist, has created a Bluesky account modeled after "The Furry Detectives," an upcoming docuseries about the 2018 zoosadism leaks. This account has nothing to do with the series and intends to mislead. We've hidden it for Laelaps users.

Heika and @laelaps.fyi do good work that has influenced Bluesky moderators, apparently by working to be a model and set standards with transparency, while improving and weathering typical and predictable backlash.

hey, so there's a new vice article up, and it's a puff piece platforming zoophiles. i got interviewed for this under the guise that they'd be platforming anti-zoophile voices, including my own. bypassed link (behind a paywall): 12ft.io/https://www....

We state this on our criteria and evidence page (zml.heika.dog), but to be clear: therians and feral NSFW artists/supporters will not be labeled unless we have evidence they're zoophiles or actively interact with them. We don't immediately consider these groups zoophiles.

It's wild how molesters make that their whole identity, compare being unwelcome to jail, and then think that valid identity groups want to join molesters to keep them out of jail. We are not the same. Every day I'm thankful to @laelaps.fyi for providing references to know we are not the same.

fyi if you're going to send me/anyone a dump of a telegram group with animal abuse media on it, DO NOT JOIN WITH YOUR MAIN. there are tools that can see what groups your account joined, and they tend to keep groups in the list even if you left so it might make you look bad. stay safe! 💞

every moderation list, including laelaps, is subjective and "vibes-based," even with the extensive criteria we have. we just have public reasons and rationale for our decisions. this is the last time i'm gonna talk about this, the discourse has shown me some people don't know shit about what we do.
