My first snippet of 2026 for #WIPSnips: Any hint of rain had blown away by the time dawn cast its light on the sea. The air was fresh and clean, as if to mark a new beginning. And in the early morning sun, the white cliffs gleamed in welcome as the SS Autocarrier approached the port of Dover.

I published my debut novel! It’s something that I had dreamed of since a kid, and the fact that it actually happened this year feels unreal! And getting it out there in the world has definitely given me confidence to keep on writing and sharing stories! 💛

One of the things I like about my kid’s play dates is finding out stuff they don’t tell me. Like how on last school trip away they woke everyone up by doing the Macarena then started a conga line.
