Its mid 90 degrees and I pretty much have to mow today ahead of weather. Time to see how much sweat one man can produce.

It's funny which fights are easy in single player become hard in co-op and which hard fights become laughable.

Gunstar Heroes is still extremely funny, and co-op changes a ton of stuff in interesting ways. Thanks @ashathecrocodile.bsky.social for joining and sorry you had to learn the hard way what kinds of stuff happens when I play games with people.

Got the deathless clear on Expert for Gunstar Heroes! Really happy with some of the boss loops I learned, really tons of cool stuff in the game. Considering trying it again with one of the weaker weapons, but for now it's a big win.

I can't believe I spent 5 hours on one steam game and I wouldn't complain that it felt too long.

Seem to just be having a slow start to the morning. I'm gonna plan to do a late start and bridge the stream into after lunch today.

Melee only taught me some really nice ideas for how to handle some fights on expert and I'm very happy about that.

Greens' stage and the spaceship stages are impossible as the game simply crashes with the no-weapons flag set, but otherwise I successfully cleared Gunstar Heroes without guns! I also learned the little chopper enemies have much more lift than you'd think!

I've always liked Gunstar Heroes but I think really drilling how the melee worked might have elevated it into a game I really love now.

The other day I had a person drop in my stream to point out that my model looks like Josuke. They made no introduction, other comments, or anything. This is something thats happened to me probably a dozen times and while I don't mind it is really interesting that someone would just do that.
