I found out that a former coworker committed suicide earlier this week. He seemed in good spirits and was in a stable position with work, income, family, etc, but mental health issues obviously go deeper than what people show. Not really sure what else to do with this. I was thinking about Revive's juggle system and the wrestling boss having the gimmick of the walls causing a stun and came up with a pretty simple infinite for him. The funny thing is because this avoids the wall splat finishers, its probably slower than fighting him normally.

Also Abobo has one of the greatest moves I've ever seen.

Very pleasantly surprised by Double Dragon Revive. I will say the game is kinda bad in ways that will probably be a brick wall for many people, but the core ideas and mechanics are actually quite good. I think a small patch or two could legitimately make it into one of the better DD games.

The Not Really Ghostbusters VS Pennywise

I get what they were going for with the Fights in Tight Spaces DLC but I don't think its very good. No new cards or decks, just a short side mission. You have no real time to shape a deck but get flooded with high-tier enemies very quickly on very closed maps and instant loss hazards everywhere.

Been having some trouble motivating myself for workout lately, so I told myself as long as I do the stretches I can skip the rest if I want to. So far I have had a 100% success rate in this turning into just doing the workout.

I don't think I ever would have guessed that steam remote play could fail in the way that it did today. Refusing to play audio for the client for exactly one specific game is just really weird considering how it should be working.

I think I have to accept that Im likely never going to 1cc Lucky and Wild on a real cabinet. The hardware is well over 30 years old and every place Ive seen it, it's just failing. The opportunities to even attempt it are also just far too distant apart.

Downsides to this arcade; limited selection mostly of 80s stuff I dont care about. Poor maintenance means effectively half their machines are down. Upside: their Fight Fight machines sound is busted in such a way as to give this sick elevator theme remix.

Coffee Crisis is almost certainly one of the worst games I've ever played in my life. Almost no functional tools when swarmed with enemies and constant blinding visual filters thrown on top. I try to be generous to indie games but the most positive thing I can say is the spritework was "OK"

Im at the point where I strongly believe AI video generation should just be illegal technology. It should be treated much like someone having access to a bomb. There is no rational reason for it to exist that outweighs the harm it effortlessly causes.

Demolish Fist routing is feeling good, still in the stage of learning where I can get blown out by situations I havent seen but thats the part that just needs to happen before I can settle into plans.

Thinking about the thing people were posting about 'worst game youve rolled credits on' and listing mediocre mid 2000s games, while I look at stuff like Final Fight ZX spectrum and Renegade 3 on the Amstrad CPC and not even sure I can call them my worst. People really got it better than they think.

What would make you believe this bluesky? What have I ever written that would lead to this conclusion, nevermind what I had already typed here?

The infinite is significantly funnier on this boss who does unfortunately have infinite protection in the form of adds during the fight, though. (volume warning on this one)

Demolish Fist is a) hilarious, b) fun for me, and c) a plausible 1cc. I would have believed 0 of those things before the stream today. I think the funniest part is the last 3 bosses all don't actually have any form of infinite protection if you manage to start one, so....
