Sue, this poem really hits hard. As a gritty, documentary, or poetry of witness poem, engaging disability as a psychosocial issue, not only as an individual experience, & done here with great skill, it raises so many important questions & assumptions. A powerful & affecting write, my friend. 👏👏👏
