I understand why chatbot cheating happens but every time I read about it I want to gently remind everyone that the point of schoolwork is not for the submission to exist. Teachers are not just greedy for more essays or solved equations. The point is to do the work WITH YOUR OWN BRAIN, FOR LEARNING.

A good reference is Nixon’s “War on Drugs”. War is the wrong metaphor, IMHO. Understanding a problem and strategising how the treatment benefits majority of people should be the way to go. But some days I feel talking about logic & empathy is just shouting into the abyss. 😔

Nayra Guzmán was 15 days post C-section — going to see her baby in the NICU — when she was taken to Broadview and held in custody for about 34 hours. She slept on a bench and barely got food. She couldn't pump. Her story is a rare window into the growing detention of pregnant & postpartum people.

According to the UNFPA, there is strong evidence that CSE improves HIV knowledge and self-efficacy related to refusing sex or condom use and contributes to delayed sexual debut and increased condom use, thus reducing sexually transmitted infections, HIV transmission and unintended pregnancy! (2/2)
