A book I just started begins with the author recounting driving down from the peak of Mauna Kea volcano on Hawaiʻi Island, which I have done, in the most ridiculous terms, as if he were about to careen off the edge at any moment. Bro, give me a break you liar. You were not. It’s not like that. 😹😹

This is a bad take, and why sometimes people have unrealistic expectations about #psychedelics and their outcomes. They may help change unhelpful perspectives if you're being intentional about it, but that doesn't mean you have everything you need. And sometimes you don't *know* what you need.
