In 2022 WE put up fake police incident boards highlighting institutional misogyny and racism in the Met police. Tonight’s BBC Panorama hows how bad it is. To quote one of our boards, the police cannot stop violence and discrimination if they do not recognise it in their own ranks.

Scottish schools have been told they must provide separate toilets for boys and girls on the basis of biological sex. School had previously been told that pupils could use whatever toilet they felt most comfortable in.

We hated Keir Starmer's proposed mandatory digital ID cards already. But for trans and non-binary people this could mark a dangerous escalation in the erosion of their human rights to privacy and be used to stop them using toilets.

Reform keeps arguing immigration is an issue when it isn’t. There is a by-election right now in Caerphilly and Nigel Farage’s party keeps saying that immigration is an issue there. BUT over 97% percent of people in the area were born in the UK. We need to debate based on facts not scaremongering.

Reform UK is supported by very well funded right wing extremist groups and they are coming for your rights.

We clicked on this story thinking a nine-year-old girl had joined a dangerous gang and was out there shooting people. But no. She was eating ice-cream in a restaurant with her family when a man burst in and shot her in the head. Yet again male violence is missing from a headline. Do better BBC.
