Animation is something I dabble with every now and then but one day I'd love to do a bit of a deep-dive and really sink my teeth into it

Having to learn a skill isn't gatekeeping. The internet is literally filled with free resources for you to learn basically anything. Y'know what is gatekeeping? Hoarding eye-watering amounts of wealth while the rest of the world struggles on...

I want to tell you about a cool project that we participated in with the Awesome Comics Podcast community. Drawn Under the Influence is a charity comic, edited by
@simonrussell.bsky.social
that allows artists to pay tribute to their influences. In the case of Benn & myself, that meant the pulp…

I've seen the McDonalds ad and of course it's hideous. An uncanny, misanthropic, artless nightmare. Also extremely funny to see its generators (I refuse to call them creators because they didn't create shit) cry about slaving away for three measly weeks. Whoa, take a break Michelangelo!

Landmark British photographer Martin Parr dies aged 73
Parr said his brightly coloured, closely observed pictures of British life were ‘disguised as entertainment’ but they became hugely popular Martin Parr, the British documentary photographer who captured the peculiarities of the nation with clarity and hilarity, has died aged 73. He had been diagnosed with cancer in May 2021. Known for his acute observations of the English class system, Parr’s images covered sunbathers and Conservative clubs, village fetes and coffee mornings, often in vivid colour and with more than a dash of humour. His iconic 1986 photobook The Last Resort: Photographs of New Brighton captured working-class holidaymakers in the Wirral, Liverpool and helped mark a sea change in British documentary photography, from the gritty, black and white style of the past towards a cheekier and more colourful style. Today would've been my fantastic Mum's 80th birthday. She was one of the first, and longest surviving, kidney transplant patients in the UK. Without organ donation, she wouldn't've lived and I wouldn't even exist, so if you can, and feel able to, please register at:
