These are the moments that I focus on. Nuzzling my ear, biskits on my neck. Loudest happy purr. This is Salem. (I take terrible pictures. Hate posting me, but he's so happy.) I cry too much.

Today I dropped my breakfast (scrambled eggs) on the floor. I hear Salem running in and the yowl. I drop to the floor. He hisses and bites my hand twice because he doesn't like eggs.? No blood today. He was able to regulate in under a half hour. Crying, loud voices and loud noises are bad. Exhausted

My husband just had a full on meltdown with tears at work. He never cries like that. Confuses him because why am I crying. Because we are constantly on guard and proactively avoiding setting off others at work and home now. It's a lot. It's ok. Things feel out of control.

Whoever hurt Salem is evil. I moved and didn't realize he was behind me. Slash hiss. So I said ow, then got silent, grabbed a dish towel I held near the ground in front of me to prevent strike 2. I slowly let him sniff me and sank to the floor 1/2

Bailey was my best friend for 12 years. I miss him so much. He was a gregarious, silly, loving boy who would purr/chirp mama, da, love you, and “yell” hello when he couldn’t find me. We were inseparable. He brought this joyful fun on many PlunderCats adventures. (More below) #plundercatemeritus

It’s a start. Needs work, but leveled and got the big rocks out and the walkway and decorations in. Everything in front of the wood fence bits is new. I have seed but need to wait for warmth. Ran out of sunlight. And energy.

I have to clean up the area where Bailey and Charlie rest and start getting it ready for flowers. Putting it off all day. Sigh.
