Tried the ATK lemon layer cake with some caramel buttercream frosting. Seems to work, tasted good. Forgot to get a picture of the unfrosted cakes. It was edible, so I'm happy.

New personal best, a little over 8 months to find out I didn't quite fit the requirements for a position. I assumed after a couple months but it's nice someone from HR finally remembered to send something out.

Could companies stop reposting jobs while their HR software still says I'm "Under consideration"? At that point I know you're not going to hire me, but at least have the courtesy to send me a canned email saying so.

Is it really that hard to set up an automated rejection email system for large companies? I've got 6 and 12 month old job apps, and quite a few others getting close to the 6 month age that I've heard nothing about. I know I didn't get it but come on.
