The idea of a man who has never worked retail a day in his life, has nicknames for everyone in the office, and thinks negative feedback is from people “afraid to take chances”.

Just finished “Daredevil: Born Again”, and it’s such an achingly strong example of an artwork’s politics being hobbled by corporate interests. The show has a clear and massive voice about police corruption and the rise of fascism. Yet, it qualifies everything with “but not ALL cops.”

Daredevil, as a character, means the world to me. He helped me get through the worst years of my youth, when I was constantly homeless and in stressful situations. Crucially, DD's abilities kind of suck compared to others. His true power is that he can always endure further. That meant the world.

I have to hand it to Marvel Rivals: They absolutely nailed Daredevil. I had no idea how they could translate a character that has such a unique concept AND is distinctly weaker than most other major marvel characters. But they did a great job with him. It brings my so much joy to play my boy!
