i think seeing anybody classify something as a shitpost immediately makes me lose respect for both the work presented and the artist themselves. it’s an easy way to just instantly tank what i think of you by hiding behind a shield of irony

i know when i say things like this it may sound really harsh or not make sense to people who haven’t lived on the internet for so long but i truly see using that kind of language as just a defense mechanism for somebody unconfident in their own work
