This is a terrific overview of one of the most unique tales in Nintendo history. You've got politics of corporate ownership running into creative pride, giving way to unique circumstances that allowed fans a once-in-a-lifetime shot of influencing the direction of their favorite series. A must watch!

It's quite the lengthy watch but this is a hell of a testament to the impact 1 Croc can have on a franchise and the lives of many Props to everyone involved. You all did fantastic. Highly recommend watching

The fact that WE as a fandom, as a community were the ones to truly make this happen makes the return of King K. Rool to the gaming zeitgeist all the more euphoric! Probably my absolute favorite villain in all of gaming.

Honestly the way this project forced me to re-confront the more painful years of being a DK fan might have just been the most valuable thing about it for me. It wasn't easy but it helped remind me of how far we've come, to be extra grateful for where we are now and the apparent future.

King K. Rool has now been in two GOTY-nominated games

I've been waiting a long time for this moment. This is a full documentary on King K. Rool, his character, his boss fights, and his fall from grace along with the DK series. But more importantly, it is the story of how DK's fanbase rallied to make a series in limbo shine again under one jolly roger.

Deltarune Theory: The Shadow Crystals gained by defeating the secret bosses are really just shards of a broken mural from a yet-to-be-unveiled/intentionally redacted portion of the prophecy. In my mind, this explains why Jevil/Spamton seem to know more than they let on.

Today is the 27th Ninth of September since the Dreamcast launched in NA on 9/9/99! 🍭 Although its fire went out too soon, it burned brightly and left a lasting impression on gaming history. Feel free to reply with any of your favorite Dreamcast memories or games!

This is the first project in a while where I've animated some new characters, and I wanted to take the opportunity to rework my animation pipeline from the ground up, as I've been a bit unhappy with my art style lately. I've tried some new techniques to give me more control over linework in comp.

Outside of the finished project itself, this is still the koolest piece of merch to kome out of Return to Krocodile Isle! These were limited in number, and were really only given out to klose friends and kontributors to the project. I feel incredibly honored to have had a hand in their kreation!

Nelvana, one of Canada’s most biggest animation studios has reportedly shut down after 54 years. (1974-2025). Workers are saying the studio has closed down its doors last Friday.

Taking a bit of a breather, here we now have King K. Rool, more specifically my own take on him. I made this for two reasons; first, Donkey Kong Bananza. Second, DKC Return to Krocodile Isle which is insanely well made! Either way, I'm glad the true reptilian King is back, and ready to rule!

In Donkey Kong Bananza, DK follows objects of interest with his eyes. However, he has an incredibly short attention span. Whenever a new object enters his vision, his attention is drawn to it instead. If many objects are moving, he will be distracted by each new one.
