I don't care what anyone says, this movie was damn good time. Loved that there were major Jim Henson Dark Crystals era vibes too. It doesn't move the needle forwards in terms of universe plotting, but served as a brilliant character bonding story. I'm just glad to see this duo on the big screen.

Rolled credits on Romeo is a Dead Man. Can't even begin to describe how zany this game is! Although the combat felt a little repetitive at times, I really appreciated the amount of fun ideas they crammed into it overall. Plenty of references thrown in there too, if you like that sorta stuff.

New Steam controller acquired! Been doing a bit more PC gaming lately and this seems like it'll tick a lot of boxes for me. Loved the touch pads on the Steam Deck (which I no longer have) and glad they've basically replicated that setup.

Started playing Yoshi. Already obsessed with the animation and style.

Decided on Romeo is a Dead Man as my next main game. In the first hour the character has turned into a cyborg, cultivated a zombie plant and cooked a katsu curry. Absolute fever dream of a game and loving it already 😅

Every time there's a new film with an absurdly stacked cast I kinda get taken out of it. At some point I’m not watching characters anymore, it's like a famous actor convention and it's weirdly self-congratulatory when *everyone* in the production is huge. Give some fresh talent a chance maybe?

If you’re the sort of person who emotionally binds music to specific moments, places and periods of your life, go play Mixtape. Especially if you grew up in the 80s/90s. It captures that feeling in such a creative, whimsical way. Finished this one in a couple short sittings and loved it.

Devil Wears Prada 2 was surprisingly good. I daresay I liked it even more than the original. May the curse of badly written legacy sequels be lifted forever more amen 🙏

Saros was a damn good time. Chaotic in the best way and dripping with atmosphere. Felt like if Alex Garland made Doom. Gorgeous art (loved the biomechanical stuff especially). Sound design also incredible. Found it easier than Returnal too. Hooray for permanent upgrades and accessibility options!

Ok, I'm hyped for this. One for the weekend perhaps. I loved The Artful Escape.
