Back in The Pass from Calgary. The news for my brother wasn’t what we were hoping for. The surgeon has given him a week to decide whether or not to go ahead with surgery.

Today I’m going to my brothers in the Crowsnest Pass. His health is failing and he has appointments in Calgary he needs to get to. My sister refuses to drive in anything less than perfect conditions so city driving is a big no for her. Tomorrow’s appt should tell us a lot.

Rachel and I made it to Victoria. We’re in a cute little AirBnB. The weather is forecasted to be over 30 today so we’re going places with air conditioning. Tonight is whale watching!

Off to Victoria today with Rachel. We’re going to pack as much adventure into 4 days as we can. Whale watching and the Bug Zoo are on the list. Do I want to go to the big zoo? No. Does my over 30 kid wanna go see bugs? Yup. So we’re going to see bugs.

In order to send my dog to a boarding kennel I have to prove that he’s up to date on all his shots. This is for his safety and the safety of the other dogs he might encounter. Why are people more concerned with the health of their pets than of their children?

Frodo has a new collar. 😆 He had to get his kennel cough shot which goes up the nose. Not fun but he was a relatively good boy. I’m going to Victoria with Rachel for a few days and Derwin is going to look after her cats. The cats have met Frodo and it didn’t go well. We have to board him.

I think it’s time Alberta DOES separate. Yeah, I said it. We need to separate our beautiful province from the destructive ideology that is the United Conservative Party and their power-mad leader. They’re going to walk away from the wreckage they wrought saying “I got mine!”. Selfish monsters.
