Photo of an artist's photo-reference morgue. A really nice one. Before the Magic Electric Internet, artists & cartoonists had to create their own Google Images, by clipping photos out of magazines and filing them according to topic. I had a morgue until the mid-1990s. Not as good as this one.

I can't be starting another project, but I think someone needs to work on pairing academics with content creators for the purposes of public education. We shouldn't expect artists to be experts in all subjects, and we shouldn't expect academics to be entertainers. Time to team up!
