Decided I'm gonna go ahead with some major sona changes (in terms of body shape.) Not sure what the equivalent of twink death is with pear shaped cats but, that's happening. 😅 I'll probably make another character with the body type though.

One of my new years resolutions is to try to get back into running at LEAST twice a week. I wanted to start it last year but things happened. I used to be rapid in my teens to mid 20s and although I'll never obviously be the same (aging yay) I miss the high. Plus potential weight loss is nice!

I can only imagine the stress professional designers have with clients. Doing some free graphic design work for some friends because I know the "basics" of design like whitespace and colour theory, where they don't. Everything I suggest is ignored and they want some monstrosity looking posters. 😭

I've had this really weird mindset in regards to art for the better part of a year, where everything has to be binary: Either finish it all the way through or scrap it. I need to learn it's fine doing some rough/not clean sketches and post them more.

I want to draw more established characters in the new year. It's easy for me to say "The Sheriff of Nottingham is hot." It's more time consuming to show my love through art. (Also it's good practice.)

'25 has been rough as hell for me on a personal level, meaning I haven't done that much art over here as I would have liked to throughout the year. On the plus side, I've reconnected with old friends in my rl circle, and felt more comfortable with what I'm into more than ever (in all aspects!)

My nephew calling me his "favourite person" is very sweet and warms my heart. But I know a day will come where he gets into something like Call of Duty or Street Fighter, and my experience in my teens will have to force him to remove that title (if I still have it by then!)
