I got reached out to by a handful of these Ai “Tools” teams. It’s just been an Ai LLM or Gen API like Sora or Nanobanana. It’s all the same. A shitty Ai that generates from a prompt to a “PBR textures” the quality is still bad and shows up the generative artifacts under Normal and Roughness.

Spencer built our key art entirely in Unreal Engine 5, something we’ve wanted to try for quite some time. It turned out amazing and is one of my favourite things we’ve ever made. (The Miro board of thumbnails and doodles we did for this is Art in of itself. We’ll share it one day!)

And.. my time at #gdc2026 is done. I’ve had an enriching time chatting with students, friends and a ton of my industry mutuals. I think this a record, 12 student 1on1’s, also the feels “imposter syndrome-y” when I hear them or others talking about my work and YouTube. #gameart #gamedev #gdc
