The trans community has been consistently warning the inevitable future of an anti-trans society is one full of paranoia that punishes cis people for not performing their assigned gender "correctly". Should we force her to put on a dress? To grow her hair out? Ban trousers on women? Get real.

Again, Project 2025 defines trans people as inherently "pornographic" - as in our physical beings. This has long been the plan in place to federally ban queer people from all public life. If this bill passes - or is issued by executive order - the end game for trans people in America will begin.

On May 10, 1933, Nazis burned the library of The Institute for Sexual Science. The Institute was founded by Dr. Magnus Hirschfeld. Its community clinic pioneered healthcare for queer, trans, & intersex people. The Institute was targeted & attacked as part of a Nazi government censorship program.

I used to work for an elected official as the person who answered their emails. I can tell you from personal experience, if even twenty or thirty people all call an official in a day, they start panicking. This stuff does help.

These communities we build will ALWAYS be welcoming to the LGBTQ+, POC, and marginalized folks across so many other spectrums, and those of us who care for your safety will always stand with you against the monsters who attempt to deny your existence. You are seen. 💖
