Happy New Year, Tim and I are both sick with the flu. I was sick for weeks in December with some upper respiratory crud so this is really making me go out of my mind. My voice is shot, I feel awful...it can really only get better from here I hope.

I don't have a blog or anything but I felt inspired to write a few words about my 5 favorite theatrical experiences in 2025 if anyone feels like reading. Copkiller Big Time Fucktoys / The Mastermind Nightshift Dinner in America

I can't believe I ended up loving HEATED RIVALRY so much but honestly it was one of the best parts of December for me. And now it's probably good that it's over because I think both my boyfriends are probably a little sick of my obsession with this show and these men.

Christmas morning: walked the dog listening to an old mix I made for my boyfriend, made biscuits and ate them with jam, watched I Killed My Mother while snuggling the dog on the couch.

This time of year I always think of this deliciously unhinged photo shoot with Truman Capote & Andy Warhol for High Times magazine's 1978 Xmas issue, with Capote soused to the gills & Warhol gamely playing along as Santa. I want someone to write an extended oral history of this photo shoot alone

RIP Rosa von Praunheim, truly one of the best to ever do it. A brilliant provocateur, an artist of the highest order, forever eager to mash genres, someone who wanted more and better for queer people, someone not afraid to stand against the tide and be proven right again and again. Thank you. ♥️

I've been extremely happy with my movie watching in November & the last couple days have been really good. Juggler was in the theater, both Dogfight and I Don't Want to Be a Man are probably in my top 10 of the year so far!! #letterboxd

Now that we're into spooky season, I switched up my four favorites and had a decently creepy #LastFourWatched on letterboxd over the past week!

Both seasons of Interview with the Vampire are on Netflix. One of the best literary adaptations in the history of television, it takes all the source material's strengths and transmogrifies all its weaknesses, like The Terror. Cruel, disgusting, sexy as fuck. Plus: Eric Bogosian! Do not walk, RUN.

Oooooh why the hell not, right? Life is short, might as well splash out on Halloween stuff occasionally. Order placed!

I'm in Maryland for a wedding and the bride's sister is one of the singing voices of KPop Demon Hunters! She honestly nailed her wedding speech and really held down the dance floor too.

Happy Bi Visibility Day! Personally, I like to celebrate bi baddies every single day, but it's a good reminder. Being bisexual is extremely important and dear to me, and I love that we're out there making the world more interesting. 💗💜💙

I've now seen multiple Paul Mescal movies in the theater where for a significant portion of the run-time I could hear people openly sobbing.

A letterboxd #LastFourWatched that's mostly new movies! How rare for me. Plus a new top 4. Love love loved The Last Detail. I adore Kyle Gallner but that new straight-to-streaming movie was bad unfortunately. Cooper Hoffman + David Jonsson are the best duo 😍
