I was in a constant cycle of working out as much as I could handle and dieting and being stuck over 250lbs. Don’t let anyone shame you for needing help regardless of its source medical or personal coach to get where you need to be for your health and goals. It is your body they do not live in it.

Ultimately if you decide to lose weight why you do it depends entirely on you and your resources. I wouldn’t have been able to lose as much weight as I have if it was not for my GLP1. I was a swim team kid worked out regularly and was not able to lose weight because I would need multiple rest days

I also did it because I want to continue going on amazing adventures with my partner(s) like when we hiked 4.5 days to Machu Picchu or scuba diving in Honduras.

I did it because my day to day pain is a lot less at my current weight I am able to spend more of my time doing stuff instead of just being on my couch because I’m in too much pain. I still have those days but they are a lot less often instead of weekly as they were before.

I lost weight because my knees are not going to last forever with my health issues and I want to put off having them replaced for as long as I can since that will start a cycle of me having them replaced about every 10 years.

I don’t often post about my struggles with my body but I want to share this really quick. I love how I look in both pics they are 6 years and about 55lbs apart. I share this not as a oh look how much better I look now. I share it because of the effort it took to get here and how proud I am of myself
