Idk what compels people to defend the MCU like this. They are the biggest money making products that have existed in cinema for 15+ years. It feels like sore winner syndrome The negative effects MCU/Disney has mad on modern cinema IS major and only now are we starting to break free from it.

While I'm glad to have access to the Criterion Channel, it's a shame the stream quality on some of the movies suck shit with compression. While they are not on there now, films like SHAMPOO and ON THE WATERFRONT look pretty blocky at parts. KLUTE also gets a bad go of it.
