Comics peeps: Thinking of dipping my toe into Artist Alley at a few future cons. Any recommendations for those nifty vertical banners? Also, I’m guessing it’s good manners to ask permission of any artist whose work I’d like be part of the banner (haven’t begun any designs yet).

Might be time to sell more original color guides. Tons of Wonder Woman, Generations, 100 Bullets, Superman/Bugs Bunny etc. to sort through! Nothing like moving to force you to downsize everything.

When people ask why I go to Ireland so much… pictures sometimes speak louder than words.

It’s been many years since I attended SDCC, and I don’t see it happening anytime soon. I miss my friends and co-workers, but the expense and impossibility of getting a table are huge hurdles. ☹️ #sdcc

Million dollar idea: comic publishers work w/ local comic shops to let you buy digitally via LCS’s online store & redeem in the publisher’s app (eg Marvel Unlimited, DC Infinite, etc). As a reviewer, digital reading is so much more efficient but there aren’t ways to do that & support local shops.

Wondering why I just got a text for a Republican candidate in Kansas. (I’m a NY Democrat). If anything, I will be SO happy when the non-stop venomous ads are over.

First time in my 21 year career that I only have enough lettering work to keep me at my desk part-time. So if you're starting up a project and you need a letterer, please consider hiring me or recommending me to your editor/publisher! It was nice being part-time for a week, but now it's terrifying.

I spent just one (very long) day at NY Comic Con but feel like it’s taken a full week to recover from it.

Wow. I downloaded my Twitter archive and deleted all my posts there last year. Felt GREAT to have a clean start. But this would have been tempting!

First time on the floor of NY Comic Con in about 15 years. So great to catch up with old pals and meet newer colleagues. My feet are toast. 😆
