Planning a trip to Melbourne from Sydney when I go over there this winter. Jury discovered that the road goes through Ballarat! Had to explain and re-explain the significance this to Mrs Cenci. A sigh and ‘whatever’ shake of the head in reply.

Watching the original House of Cards. Mycroft and Violet Hunter from the Radio 4 adaptations are in the same scene.

Herr Stieler was the name of hotelier in Reichenbach when Holmes and Watson visit the Falls and Sherl has a big scrap with Moriarty. He's not responsible for the brief death of the Great Detective or for sending off Amaro Nallo last night. That needs to be said.

Slight delay on the next episode (‘The Abbey Grange’) but delighted to announce that Bonnie MacBird will be joining us for The Second Stain.

Must say I'm impressed so far by @adlerto.bsky.social. Currently midway through the third episode (covering 'A Case of Identity') and like the laidback style, which still manages to go into the stories in interesting depth 😀.

Gradually working my way through the entire Rippercast podcast archive from start to finish and reached the back end of 2019 and the first episode of From Adler to Amberly by @adlerto.bsky.social. An interesting addition, especially as a fan of Sherlock Holmes.
