With the world united behind renewables and energy efficiency, COP28 made history. So thank you, Sultan Al Jaber. Now we must deliver on its legacy. Europe is working with industry to roll out renewables in developing countries. We’ll stay true to the spirit of COP28.

In a democracy there is a place for everyone. It is built on participation, diversity and equality. As the EU we support genuine elections, protect independent media, stand with civil society and challenge disinformation, because in a democracy, everyone counts and all voices matter.  #DemocracyDay

The EU must stop being complacent & self-flagellating. It is an economic & political force, and has the military will to defend our freedom & interests. "That’s what we must continue doing,” said Delphine Pronk at #EUISS2025.
