Russia should pay for the war it started. To finance Ukraine’s war effort, we support a new solution: a Reparations Loan on the basis of Russian assets – the cash balances associated to these assets.

Europe’s independence is about protecting our freedoms. And free press is the backbone of democracy. We will launch a Media Resilience Programme to support journalism and media literacy. And keep backing independent and local media - because corruption happens in the dark.
