Had a small group hike to celebrate the Redwood Regional Park bus today. Still so excited we can just take the bus to *this*! It's 17min on the train and 30min on the bus from San Francisco, and 21min on the train and 30min on the bus from Berkeley.

I think seasonal shuttles have the opportunity to play a major role in access to the outdoors β a lot of California agencies run school service, and so have fleet capacity in summer just as demand for our natural spaces is at its highest!

This post is about Banff, but the thread is about California β about how we already spend the money on transit in a lot of cases, but don't give the small agencies running it the support or vision needed to make it a truly great option. Twice daily can be plenty of frequency if done well!
