Spent all day reading briefs in Louisiana v. Callais and watching white people argue that the 14th amendment is a race-neutral colorblind amendment and citing Plessy for that proposition has me so angry. Just.. come the fuck on. The Reconstruction Amendments were not intended to be race-neutral.
