The Virginia Supreme Court issued today that their new map netting Dems more seats can’t be used. This is why, in fact, the Supreme Court (state level or otherwise) is VERY MUCH a valid reason, all by itself, to always vote, even if you don’t like the candidates. Republicans played the long game.

So I’m seeing conservatives/maga loudly proclaiming “SEE!? HE DOESN’T HAVE THE SUPREME COURT UNDER HIS HEEL! HE’S NOT A FASCIST DICTATOR!” Trump’s problem is that he doesn’t realize he still has to work within the US framework (what’s left of it.). You can be a fascist dictator and be bad at it.

Combine this with his new “SAVE” Act? He wants poor people and everyone under that umbrella unable to vote.

Saying the unpopular thing: The U.S. will not move left until the right is no longer a threat.

So I have to get this observation out. Conservatives only have principles and love democracy so long as they are on top and they’re useful. These are baby boomers. They want status, power and money. When principles and democracy STOP giving them those things, conservatives WILL abandon them.

No. It doesn’t. But it would sure as hell help the rest of us if you don’t hoard so much of it! We don’t all get to cry in a mansion.

We are far better off with the “Illegals” than with ICE. It’s the least surprising aspect of all this. This is why nobody ever did the kinds of actions the way Trump’s regime is doing it. It wasn’t worth be trouble. It was always about getting rid of brown people under the guise of safety.

I’m one of those that thinks they’re doing this intentionally. They’re trying to push us into armed conflict. They want to escalate, likely so they can cancel the midterms in some nonsensical way. The question is when somebody, somewhere decides that it’s worth it to fight back knowing this.

Teachers have been underpaid so long it’s a stereotype. ICE agents have thousands of dollars in signing bonuses and 100,000 starting salary. This could have been going to teachers the whole time. Ever since the 60’s and the conservative rich figured out that smart people didn’t agree with them,
