I've never noticed it before, but i have now and can't unsee it. When you create an resource group in Azure, after the validation step the create button is on the right hand side, the cancel on the left. But when you create a resource in that group, the create button is on the left... How odd!

First full day with hearing aids and 2 things jump out at me... 1) I aparently used to speak loud because I could not hear myself, that is much better now 2) Wow, is the world a noisey place!!! Like I knew car tyres were loud on the motorway, but even on a normal street 🙉

Woohoo! #Dotnet10 has been released, I've updated my VS Studio to VS 2026, and updated my demo for Thursday afternoon to use the released NuGet packages rather than the preview versions. I'm happy today that everything still works. Perfect!

Hmm… Upgraded my iPad so that I could still fit films on it. The last gen M4 iPad Pro for about the same as an iPad Air is a stunning bit of kit! I also got a Magic Keyboard, built by #CoolBlue, it’s fantastic to type on, but weighs a ton, and you can’t fold it flat. Like, you know, a tablet…

Sunday morning weird problems... I've just spent 20 mins fighting #Rider from @jetbrains.com My functions just would not run. The configuration to launch was ignored and I got errors. Everything was correct (checked against a working app). The problem? I had removed a project from my solution

I got the water colours out again today. The new lights over the dining room table make the world of difference, but I can see I've not practiced for a while... All things considered not the worst things I've made, and it was fun 🤩
