Today is a holiday, so my first week of work is over. I feel pretty good about the job and the move so far; I think this was the right decision for me. There’s so much to do, including finding a more permanent place to live, but we’re doing our best.

We arrived safely in CA yesterday and have settled into temporary housing. I’m about to start my first day at my new (old) job. Wish me luck!
