@drdissociation.bsky.social writes in one of my favorite neglected forms, closet drama, in Punchline Remains the Same (or Ash/Dust). Certainly there's a touch of dry Ring-Lardner-esque absurdity in one particular Against Me!-based stage direction that might properly be perceived only on the page.
