I found a 1972 Crackerjack annual in a Southsea bookshop today. There's an item on Television makeup and Dr. Who(sic) is mentioned and a photo from #DoctorWho Inferno.

In fact, the Mary Rose wreck site had only recently been rediscovered when this was being filmed. Fortunately, the Sea Devils left our divers alone...

I was planning to wander down to Fraser Ranges and grab a selfie to celebrate #TheSeaDevils being back on TV. The British weather intervened so here's one from a few years ago.

I really enjoyed the new edit of #DoctorWho #TheSeaDevils. A lot of snappy editing, meaning more scenes could be kept. I also liked the new music, I'm no fan of Clarke's shrill warbling tones. I planned to walk down to one of the locations today but the weather dissuaded me.

It's 50 years since The #DoctorWho Monster Book was published with Pull-out poster. The fabulous artwork went missing after it was loaned out for publicity purposes. It's probably in the States, anyone over there seen it around?

Last night we took a tour of the D-day tunnels near Portsmouth. 1.5 miles of underground excavation in the chalk. Absolutely amazing and kept secret until 1999.

The only bit of Scottish real estate in #DoctorWho Terror of the Zygons is Dumvegan Castle on The Isle of Skye. I visited it in 1994. Shown on the VHS cover is Eilean Donan Castle which I visited in 2002. Neither are anywhere near Loch Ness. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
