Some new work for our friends at the Columbia Yacht Club! The CYC is a site that is open to visits during this weekend's Open House Chicago, and I'd recommend it. I went last year and enjoyed exploring the ship that I have seen docked in the same spot my entire life.

Words of advice from an unnamed client: don't pop the top of your bungalow! I can't speak for them, but as a bungalow owner myself, I cringe every time I see a box plopped down onto the second floor of a classic Chicago bungalow with seemingly no regard for the home's original architectural style.

Read an article by @leebey1.bsky.social about the First Church of Deliverance the other day, and it inspired me to draw this iconic streamline Art Moderne building. They were just awarded a grant that will help them complete a comprehensive preservation and maintenance plan for this amazing place.

A common sight in Chicago nowadays: knocking down old, historic homes and replacing them with sterile boxes of sameness. We've has always been known for our architecture, but we're now sadly becoming known for letting developers knock down old homes in favor of whatever the flavor of the month is.

Hi, my name is Anthony aka Harebrained. For those not familiar, I started Harebrained in 2008 printing shirts & underwear in a shitty garage. Since then I’ve come out with a line of Period Panties, boxer briefs, baby clothes, a trivia game & book, and a ton of Chicago merch.

Something a little different than usual: This is a partial reproduction of an original print by Oscar Rabe Hanson of the Humboldt Park Sunken Garden that was made in the early 1920s. Original art features three urns that were formerly placed around the exterior; updated art replaces urns with bison.

I’m a finalist for a potential mural design in my Ravenswood neighborhood, Chicago. Mine is built from metal type ornaments and is an homage to both typographers of the past and my current neighbors.

Riverview! It was gone way before I was born, but I love looking at pics of it and reading about the history of it, so I created this homage.
