Called into my local model shop for advice about my glossy primer as a few people online suggested I've got some mat varnish to spray over it. Probably too cold to spray it though to fix my mistake. But they had a kit I've been after for ages but didn't buy it! Fully committed to #buildthestash

Mmmkay so this might be the first time a tamiya spray can has let me down. Sprayed my entire skaventide sprue in tamiya white (can't remember the number) but as I was painting this dude a lot of the paint slid off because it's too glossy. Any solutions? Spray it black? Redo it?

First mini of 2026 done (will touch a few bits up later) 🥳 Discovered that the white primer on these guys is too glossy for contrast paints, so gonna spray them back and redo. Not a brilliant standard but got lots to do. Started my skaven tide box too. 1 hour start to finish #nerdlings

Ended up ordering the Churchill/Matilda cutting mat from the tank museum... As it turns out, it's a little bigger than I thought it was going to be 😅

One of my resolutions in 2026cis to reduce the pile of shame and do my best not to add to it* To that end, used a birthday voucher to buy my last kit of 2025 which may or may not have given me inspiration to start my skaven 😁 *Unless for basing/ dioramas

Hopefully starting the new year with a bit of mojo with a challenge to paint 25 minis by the 9th may... Quite looking forward to this, though moving house might put a delay on things, but we'll see!

Best mate has gifted me a 20 quid voucher for games workshop, for once though I'm totally stumped what to do with it, realistically I don't necessarily need any more death guard stuff, debating putting it towards something for my completely unbuilt tau or skaven forces 🤔 #Nerdlings

Three new (and imho very very cool) stinky bois built and ready to join the fray. Takes my running total of plague marines up to about 24 I think 🤔 Will probably proxy the grenade guy as a biologious putrifier I think. #nerdlings
